Paneer Roll Recipe


Paneer Roll Recipe:


 Paneer Roll Ingredients:

  • Paneer(Indian cottage cheese)....................100 gms.
  • Potato        ..............................................1 medium size.
  • Egg            ............................................. 3 .
  • Onion         ............................................. 1 (finely sliced).
  • Green chilies............................................. 2(Finely chopped).
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder............................................ 1/2( finely sliced ).
  • salt            ............................................ To Taste.
  • Curd      ............................................ 2 tablespoon.
  • flour          ............................................. 1 cup.
  • Green chili  ............................................. 2.
  • Black pepper powder ................................ To taste. 
  • Water for making the dough.
  • oil for frying.

Method :
Paneer Roll

  1. Add 2 tablespoon of curd,2 tablespoon of oil, 1 egg and a pinch of salt in the flour and mix well,now add some water and knead the dough and divide the dough into equal parts and roll into 2 smooth balls.
  2. Roll out two chapatis from the dough balls.
  3. Heat 2 tablespoon oil in the pan and place the chapati on the pan ,cook both sides equally,remove the cooked chapati from the pan.
  4. Beat 1 egg along with finely chopped onion and green chilies and a pinch of salt.Heat oil in the pan and pour the egg mixture in the pan ,before the egg mixture sets place the chapati on top of it and press gently .

  5. Flip the egg + roti once the egg mixture is cooked,add a little more oil if needed.
  6. Once this side is also cooked remove it from the pan and keep aside.
  7. Cut the potato and paneer in small cubes.
  8. Heat oil in pan and put the potato cubes in the pan fry till it almost becomes golden brown,now put the paneer cubes also in the pan ,add chopped onion,1/2 teaspoon Black pepper powder,1/2 teaspoon cumin powder and a pinch of salt and cook the mixture.Add a little bit of water so that it forms a thick gravy.
  9. Now put the paneer gravy on the egg side of the chapati and roll it using a lunch paper as shown in the picture.
