Mix veg Recipe:
Mix Veg Ingredients:
- 2 cup chopped mixed vegetables(carrot,capsicum,potato,cauliflower,french beans,brinjal).
- 1 onion paste.
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste.
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder.
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder.
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder.
- 3 tablespoon poppy seed paste.
- 2 tablespoon coriander leaves.
- 2 to 3 finely chopped green chilies.
- 1 finely chopped onion.
- 1 bay leaf.
- 1 teaspoon cumin seed.
- oil.
- salt to taste.
- Heat oil in pan and add the cumin seeds and bay leaf in it,when the cumin seeds start crackling add the finely chopped green chilies and finely chopped onion in the pan ,cook till the onion become soft.
- Now add the ginger and onion paste ,fry them for a minute till the raw smell is gone.
- Add the chopped mixed vegetables in the pan and stir fry them for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Now add the rest of the spices(red chili powder,turmeric powder,cumin powder) and stir fry for 1 minute.Add the poppy seed paste and mix well.
- Add half cup water ,place a lid in the pan and let the vegetables cook.Check occasionally and add some water if needed.
- Garnish with coriander leaves,serve with roti/naan/chapatis.
