Bread Pakora Ingredients :
- 2 slices of white bread.
- 1 cup mashed potato.
- 1 cup gram flour(besan).
- 1 onion chopped finely.
- 2 finely chopped green chilies.
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger.
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder.
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder.
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder.
- 1/4 teaspoon amchur powder.
- 1 teaspoon Finely chopped coriander leaves.
- salt to taste.
- oil for deep frying.
- Remove the crust from all sides of the bread. Its optional actually you can keep the crust if you want.
- Mash the boiled potatoes .
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and add the grated ginger,finely chopped onion,finely chopped green chilies in it.
- Fry them for 1 minute in medium heat,now add 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder,1/4 teaspoon cumin powder,1/4 teaspoon red chili powder and fry well,add salt to taste.
- Add the mashed potatoes in the pan and fry for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Remove the pan from heat and keep aside.
- Mix gram flour with amchur powder and a little salt.Add some water and make a thick batter.
- Take one bread and spread the cooked potato mixture on one side of it, now place another slice of bread on top of it.Now cut the slices diagonally in a triangular shape.
- Heat oil for deep frying.
- Dip one triangular shaped stuffed bread slice into the batter and drop it in oil for deep frying.
- its ready for eating when it turns golden brown.
