Gobi(Cauliflower) Kheema Recipe

Gobi(Cauliflower) Kheema Recipe:

Gobi Kheema Ingredients:

  • 200 grams Cauliflower(Gobi).
  • 2 onions chopped.
  • 1 tea spoon ginger paste.
  • 2 tea spoon garlic paste.
  • 2 to 3 green chilies chopped.
  • 1 bay leaf.
  • 2 tea spoon cumin powder.
  • 1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder.
  • 1/2 tea spoon red chili powder.
  • 1/4 tea spoon garam masala powder.
  • 8 to 9 mint leaves.
  • salt.
  • oil.

Gobi Kheema method:

  1. Wash and chop the cauliflower in small pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add the bay leaf ,green chilies and chopped onions,fry till the onions become soft.Now add the ginger garlic paste and saute for 30 secs.Add the turmeric ,red chili powder,cumin powder and stir fry for another 15 secs.
  3. Add the chopped gobi or cauliflower and saute for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Now add salt ,mint leaves and 1 cup water and cook till the cauliflower pieces are done.
  5. Add the garam masala and cook till you get a thick gravy.Serve with roti,paratha(For aloo paratha click here, for gobi paratha click here,for laccha paratha click here) or rice
