Mango lassi Recipe

Mango  lassi Recipe:

Lassi is easy to prepare and for me is a must after a hot and tiring day.Freshly made lassi has a cooling affect on our body and the beneficial bacteria in curd helps in digestion also.I am using mango and dates for this preparation and instead of adding ice cubes I prefer to refrigerate the lassi for some time before serving . Hope you will like it :)

Mango Lassi Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe mango,cut in small pieces.
  • 3 cups of curd(dahi).
  • 1/2 cup sugar.
  • 4 dates finely chopped and seed removed.
  • 1/2 cup milk.
  • 2 table spoon fresh cream.

Mango Lassi Method:

  1. Blend the curd,sugar and mango in a blender for 2 to 3 minutes.Add milk and blend for another 1 minute.Add a little water if it is too thick.
  2. Now add the chopped dates and cream and mix using a spoon or ladle.Refrigerate for some time and serve cold.
Preparation time: 5 to 10 minutes     Servings:4 glasses.
