Mete Chorchori(Chicken Liver Stir Fry) Ingredients:
- 250 gms chicken liver,cut in small pieces.
- 2 medium onions finely chopped.
- 2 medium potato ,cut in small cubes.
- 2 tablespoon coriander leaves.
- 2 to 3 finely chopped green chilies.
- 2 teaspoon garlic paste.
- 2 teaspoon red chili powder.
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder.
- 2 teaspoon cumin powder.
- 1 bay leaf.
- oil .
- Garam masala.
- salt to taste.
- Heat oil and fry the potatoes till they turn golden brown,remove from heat and keep aside.
- Heat 3 tablespoon of oil in the pan and add the bay leaf,finely chopped onions and green chilies.Fry till the onions become soft.
- Now add red chili powder,turmeric powder,cumin powder and fry for 1 minute or so.
- Put the chicken liver in the pan and stir fry the mixture for 5 to 6 min in medium heat.Add the fried potatoes and mix it well,add 1 cup of water in the pan and place a lid in it,let it cook for another in medium heat till the gravy becomes thick.
- remove the lid and stir fry for another 2 to 3 mins,add apinch of garam masala.
- serve with roti or rice.
