Anda/Egg Curry(Dimer Jhol) Recipe:

Anda/Egg Curry(Dimer Jhol) Ingredients:

  • 4 boiled eggs.
  • 2 potatoes,cut in pieces.
  • 2 tomatoes,cut quarterly.
  • 3 to 4 green chillies,slit.
  • 2 tablespoon onion paste.
  • 1 large onion chopped.
  • 1 tablespoon ginger paste.
  • 1 tablespoon garlic paste. 
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder.
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder.
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder.
  • salt to taste.
  • oil.
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing.

Anda/Egg Curry(Dimer Jhol) Cooking Method:

  1. Using a sharp knife make cuts in the boiled eggs skins.Now rub salt and turmeric powder to the eggs.Heat oil in a pan and fry the eggs till they turn golden brown and keep aside.
  2. Fry the potato pieces also and keep aside.
  3. Now fry the chopped onions,green chillies till the onions become soft.
  4. Add the onion paste and ginger garlic paste and saute for 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Now add the turmeric,cumin and red chilli powder ,sprinkle a little water and saute till the oil separates from the spices.
  6. Add the tomatoes,fried potato and eggs and mix well.Cook for 3 to 4 minutes before adding 1 cup of water.

  7. Cook till you get the desired consistency.Garnish with coriander leaves.Egg curry/dimer jhol is ready.

Gobi pakora Recipe

Cauliflower pakora(Gobi pakora) Recipe:

Cauliflower pakora(Gobi pakora) Ingredients:

  • Cauliflower boiled and cut in pieces.
  • 1 cup Corn flour or gram flour.
  • Pinch of amchoor powder.
  • Breadcrumbs.
  • 1 teaspoon sugar.
  • salt.
  • oil.

Cauliflower pakora(Gobi pakora) Cooking Method:

  1. Rub salt to the boiled pieces of cauliflower and keep aside.
  2. Make a thick batter using the corn flour,sugar,salt and amchoor powder.
  3. Heat oil for deep frying in a pan .
  4. Dip the cauliflower pieces in the batter and coat it with the breadcrumbs,Deep fry till they turn golden brown.
  5. The pakodas are ready,serve hot with dipping sauce.

Aloo ka bharta recipe:

Aloo ka bharta Ingredients:

  • 1 onion chopped.
  • 7 to 8 green chillies ,chopped.
  • 4 to 5 medium potatoes,peeled,boiled and mashed.
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder.
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder.
  • coriander leaves for garnishing.
  • salt.
  • oil.

  1. Heat oil in a pan and stir fry the chopped onions and green chillies for 2 minutes or so.
  2. Add the mashed potatoes and mix well.Cook it for another 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Now add the turmeric and red chilli powder and mix with the potatoes,Cook for a another 3 to 4 minutes in medium heat, garnish with coriander leaves.


  4. Server with rice or roti.

Baingan ki sabzi(Brinjal/Eggplant curry) Ingredients:

  • 1 onion chopped.
  • 7 to 8 garlic cloves,crushed.
  • 2 small potatoes,peeled and cut in pieces.
  • 3 to 4 baby eggplant,cut in pieces.
  • 2 tomatoes,cut quarterly.
  • 2 teaspoon red chilli powder.
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder.
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder.
  • salt.
  • oil.


Baingan ki sabzi(Brinjal/Eggplant curry) Cooking Process:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and stir fry the garlic and onions for 1 minute or so.
  2. Now add the potatoes and fry till they become golden brown.
  3. Also add the eggplant and stir fry for another 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Add the red chilli,turmeric and cumin powder,mix well.Sprinkle a little water and saute for 2 to 3 minutes.Also add the tomatoes.
  5. Add salt and 1 cup water ,bring to boil.Cook till you get the desired consistency.
  6. Serve with chapati.

Chicken tehri recipe


Chicken tehri recipe:

Chicken tehri Ingredients:

  • 3 to 4 green chillies ,partially slit.
  • 2 onions finely chopped.
  • 2 carrots chopped.
  • 1/2 cup chopped cauliflower.
  • 2 small potatoes chopped.
  • 1/4 cup peas.
  • 1 cup pulao rice(preferably basmati).
  • 2 tablespoon onion paste.
  • 1 tablespoon ginger paste.
  • 1 tablespoon garlic paste.
  • 2 teaspoon turmeric powder.
  • 2 teaspoon cumin powder.
  • 2 teaspoon coriander powder.
  • 2 teaspoon red chilli powder.
  • 200 gms chicken cut in medium size cubes.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder.
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed cardamom.
  • 1(1 inch) cinnamon stick.
  • 2 bay leaves.
  • 4 cups chicken stock.
  • oil.
  • salt to taste.

  • 1/2 cup yogurt.
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder.
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder.
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder.
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder.


Chicken tehri Cooking Method:

Chicken Tehri Marination process:

  1. marinate the chicken with yogurt and rest of the spices listed under the ingredients for marination column(i.e turmeric powder,cumin powder,coriander powder,red chilli powder) and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Chicken Tehri Cooking process:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and stir fry the carrots, potatoes,cauliflower and keep aside.
  2. Now heat oil again and add bay leaves,crushed cardamom,cinnamon stick and fry for 1 minute or so.Also add the ginger garlic paste and onion paste and saute the mixture for another 2 to 3 minutes.Now add the turmeric powder,cumin powder,coriander powder,red chilli powder and saute till the oil separates from the spices.
  3. Now add the marinated chicken and mix well with the spice mixture.Place a lid on the pan and let it cook in its own juices for about 15 minutes.Remove the lid and when the chicken is 2/3 done remove it from heat.
  4. Now fry the basmati rice in another pan for 1 minute and add 2 cups of chicken stock along with the peas and bring it to boil.When the rice is 2/3 cooked first add the fried carrots,cauliflower and potatoes and mix well with the rice.


  5. Now add the chicken and mix well.Add rest of the chicken stock ,place a lid and cook till it is done.


  6. Meanwhile in another pan fry the finely chopped onions and the green chillies till they turn golden brown.
  7. Add the fried onions,chillies and garam masala to the Tehri and mix.Serve with any gravy based dish

Phool kopir dalna(Cauliflower curry):

Phool kopir dalna (Cauliflower curry) ingredients:

  • 1 bay leaf,torn half.
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds.
  • 2 teaspoon grated ginger.
  • 2 potatoes,peeled and cut in long pieces.
  • 250 gms cauliflower,cut in medium size pieces.
  • 2 teaspoon turmeric powder.
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder.
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder.
  • 1 tomato,cut in pieces.
  • 3 to 4 green chillies ,slit.
  • 1 tablespoon ghee(optional)
  • oil.
  • salt to taste.
Phool Kopir dalna/Cauliflower Curry

Phool kopir dalna (Cauliflower curry) Cooking method:

  1. Marinate the cauliflower with salt and 1 teaspoon turmeric powder and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the marinated cauliflower and potatoes separately.Keep aside.

  3. now heat oil and add the bay leaf and cumin seeds,once the cumin seeds start to crackle add the grated ginger and fry for 1 minute or so.
  4. Now add the rest of the spices(i.e turmeric powder,cumin powder,red chilli powder.... don't add the garam masala right now) with a little water and saute till the oil separates from the spices.
  5. Now add the fried cauliflower and potatoes and mix well with the spices,cook them for 2 to 3 minutes in medium heat.
  6. Also add the tomatoes and green chillies ,mix well.Add 1 cup water and bring it to boil.


  7. Cook till you get the desired consistency ,add the garam masala and 1 tablespoon ghee(optional) before you remove from heat.

  8. Your Phool kopir dalna/Cauliflower Curry is ready now.Serve with rice or roti.

Chilli Chicken Recipe

Chilli Chicken Recipe:


Chilli Chicken Ingredients:

  • 3oo gms chicken, cubed.
  • 6 to 8 Green chillies ,chopped.
  • 1/2 cup vegetables(carrot,capsicum,peas,spring onions).
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste.
  • 1 cup chicken stock.
  • 2 tablespoon dark soy sauce.
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar.
  • 2 tablespoon yogurt.
  • 2 teaspoon pepper powder.
  • 2 tomatoes finely chopped.
  • salt to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon sugar.
  • oil

Chilli Chicken Ingredients for the batter:

  • 1 cup corn flour.
  • 1 egg.
  • water.
  • salt to taste.

Chilli Chicken Ingredients for the marination:

  • 2 tablespoon yoghurt .
  • 1 tablespoon pepper powder.
  • 2 tablespoon oil.
  • salt.

Chilli Chicken Cooking process:

Chilli Chicken marination method:

  1. Marinate the chicken with all the ingredients listed as ingredients for marination and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.


Chilli Chicken cooking method:

  1. Make a thick batter using the ingredients that are listed as  the ingredients for the batter(i.e 1 cup corn flour,1 egg,water and salt).
  2. Heat oil in a pan and dip the marinated chicken cubes in the batter and pan fry them in medium heat till the chicken become almost tender and from outside they look golden brown.You can put a lid on the pan as well while cooking so that the chicken cubes get cooked easily.

  3. Remove the chicken cubes from the pan and heat 3 tablespoon of oil.Add the garlic paste,Green chillies and saute for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Now add the finely chopped tomatoes and saute the mixture for another 2 to 3 minutes.Also add the chopped vegetables(carrot,capsicum,peas,spring onions) and stir fry the mixture till the vegetables are done.
  5. Add pepper powder and mix well,also add yogurt,vinegar,dark soy sauce and stir.
  6. Now add the chicken stock and bring it to boil.
  7. Add the fried chicken cubes and let it simmer for couple of minutes.Cook till you get the desired consistency.
