Bread Pakora Recipe




Bread Pakora Recipe:


Bread Pakora Ingredients :

  • 2 slices of white bread.
  • 1 cup mashed potato.
  • 1 cup gram flour(besan).
  • 1 onion chopped finely.
  • 2 finely chopped green chilies.
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger.
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder.
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder.
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder.
  • 1/4 teaspoon amchur powder.
  • 1 teaspoon Finely chopped coriander leaves.
  • salt to taste.
  • oil for deep frying.

Bread Pakora Method :

  1. Remove the crust from all sides of the bread. Its optional actually you can keep the crust if you want.
  2. Mash  the boiled potatoes .
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and add the grated ginger,finely chopped onion,finely chopped green chilies in it.
  4. Fry them for 1 minute in medium heat,now add 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder,1/4 teaspoon cumin powder,1/4 teaspoon red chili powder and  fry well,add salt to taste.
  5. Add the mashed potatoes in the pan and fry for 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Remove the pan from heat and keep aside.
  7. Mix gram flour with amchur powder and a little salt.Add some water and make a thick batter.
  8. Take one bread and spread the cooked potato mixture on one side of it, now place another slice of bread on top of it.Now cut the slices diagonally in a triangular shape.
  9. Heat oil for deep frying.
  10. Dip one triangular shaped stuffed bread slice into the batter and drop it in oil for deep frying.
  11. its ready for eating when it turns golden brown.
