Sabudana Vada Recipe


Sabudana Vada Recipe:

Sabudana Vada Ingredients :

  • 1 cup sabudana.
  • 1 potato(boiled,peeled,mashed).
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds.
  • 1/2 cup roasted peanuts.
  • 3 to 4 green chilies(finely chopped).
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger.
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped coriander.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Oil for deep frying. 

Sabudana Vada Method :

  1. wash the sabudana and soak it in water for 2 hours or overnight depending on your sabudana type.
  2. You will know the sabudana is soaked properly when it mashes easily when you press the sabudana pearls between your fingers.
  3. Mix the sabudana with all the ingredients(mashed potato,cumin seeds,roasted peanuts,finely chopped green chilies,grated ginger,finely chopped coriander) and add salt to taste.
  4. divide the dough in patties size balls.
  5. Now heat oil for deep frying.
  6. fry the vadas till they turn golden brown.
  7. Serve the vadas with chutney.
